Whats the most dead animals you have seen in one day of your usual travel?

I've seen 6 today, did about a 100 mile round trip. I just think its such a sad sight whenever I see any dead no matter what the animal.

Seen a cat yesterday, his guts were hanging out so he was very dead.

Saw a King Charles dog squashed on a road over Xmas, the poor thing...wasn't a stray either, could see he had a collar on. Terrible sight.

Haven't seen many in Ireland but while I was driving around Austrailia a few years ago I remember seeing lots of squashed things on the really long remote roads.

Cows at the side of the road swell up like baloons and the stink off them is completely rank. You can smell them from quite a bit away aswell...

That's one of the most stupid things I've seen on here in quite some time.

Shortly after the motorway from Galway was opened, I took a spin on it up to Athlone, and saw easily about 15 dead animals on one side of the road alone.

At one point just outside Athenry I could have sworn I saw a chicken. Went back the next day to confirm and, yup... just didn't quite make it to the other side. :pac:

(well depending on your interpretation of 'other side')

There used to be a dead badger by the side of the N4 chapelizod bypass a while ago...
