hi I was hoping somebody would be able to give me some advice please..

Im trying to find out if it is possible to get Danish FTA channels for my husband. We have a SKY dish and SKy box which we are using as FTA boxes as we cancelled our Sky subscription, the dish is still in place. Is it possible to reposition the dish to get the Danish channels .

Thanks for any replies, we would be grateful for any help you could give us.

    Thanks a lot

Do not know a whole pile about Danish TV from a quick google i turned up channel DR1.

    Put that into kingsofsat

Looks like they are encrypted, and on a different satellite so you need to repoint or change the dish (it may not be large enough) and get a Danish sat decoder box with decoding card.

    Hope this helps some bit.

I agree, nothing FTA from Denmark and if you did want some channels for him you would be looking at replacing the dish, receiver and getting a sub and I'd bet that would cost a lot more than your cancelled Sky sub.

Best place to ask is in the Foreign Satellite forum but I'm pretty sure they'll just confirm what has already been said.

Reception on a large dish may be possible in North East. In South East may not be possible. Even with a legitimate viewing card.
