Stratford upon avon has been recommended to me as a good base for travelling to Cheltenham for the festival but transport option seem very limited (if non-existent!). Does anyone know if there are special shuttle services available during the festival between SUA and Cheltenham?

    Any help appreciated

Accomodation in SUA already booked. I was advised that Cheltenham would be far too busy.

If its not too late, I would cancel SUA if you can. If you want a quiet spot, I'd recommend a B&B near the track in Prestbury using the service quoted above.

I cancelled SUA and am now going to stay in Birmingham and commute daily (2 days). I'll probably hang around Cheltenham after racing for the buzz and get the last train to Birmingham around 11pm. The accomodation with Lix was £75 pp per night for ensuite B&B which was working out at £300 for 2 nights. 3 star hotel accomodation in Birmingham is working out at £120 plus £44 return for the additional train fare for 2 people.

    Thanks for the help
