Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Why do people make such a big deal of chicken wings??

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,801 ✭✭✭✭Kojak

Because in the 4th century AD, the human race, as we know it, was about to become extinct, until some old pensioner decided to start eating the wings of chickens. Hence it is in the human psyche to eat chicken wings.

Ever meet a severly pregnant man?

I'm having a few. I can't afford to be hungover when term begins again and will need to hit the ground running at that point.

If I did I would believe in the type concerning reincarnation. And thats a big IF. I get the feeling that if nothing is created and destroyed then over an infinite amount of time your molecules can be assembled , disassembled and reassembled over an infinite number of times so long as energy keeps circulating therefore while impossible for us to do on purpose it's possible that whatever it is that makes you who you are could be reassembled into another form but on a timescale far beyond human patience or comprehension.
However I can't see how it can have a moral function unless one was to include a concept of a God like being who directed things in a particular way.
The type of Karma which people use to state that their enemies will get whats coming to them in this lifetime and make themselves feel better doesn't make as much or any sense to me.

Do you believe in the Loch Ness Monster ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,551 ✭✭✭Eroticplants

Yes but I don't think it fair to call her a monster, that's for Nessy to decide.

Should I stop ignoring that person?
