roses as well since they started using soya in them.
So that's what they did! Had them over christmas and they were rubbish. Horrible texture to them now.

Pringles sour cream and onion. The flavour doesn't taste the same, its milder and I'm pretty sure the Pringles have got smaller.
Remember they had little bits of green on them?

Wham! bars. They kept reducing the amount of fizz lumps in them. Last one I bought had literally one single lump at one end and the rest of the bar was lump free. Never bought one again. I know companies reduce things to cut costs, including the size of the product - hoping no one will notice - but they must really think us dumb to reduce it that much and act like nothing happened.

Had one last night - thought it was as good as ever tbh!

No one has mentioned Curley wurleys, not only different taste but so much smaller too

Roy of the Rovers bars. They dissapeared off the face of the earth and some blonde haired imposter returned.

    Damn him to hell

Haha. True. Same with Monster Munch, if not just for taste, they also did away with the accompanying story of the primordial race of giant, the Cyclops.

Club Milk bars are a shadow of their former selves too. They really scrimped on the chocolate. Once there was a wonderful chunk of chocolate surrounding the biscuit inside, only a mere sliver now. Far from the nibbling delight it once was, but still good for tea dipping.

Well somebody must - otherwise they would not be getting away with it.

As well as changing the recipe, they've also cut down on the variety of sweets.
I remember as a kid there was, among others, marzipan, noisette whirl, bournville, montelimar and the infamous coffee creme (which I liked, though I knew it wasn't at the level of the others).

Now they have three or four very similar caramel sweets; the dairy milk and the hazelnut whirl which are basically the same as latter has so little nut; then you've just got the orange one (meh) and the strawberry one to provide a little variety. And the fudge and toffee ones, but they're similar to the caramel sweets. And this year there was only two of the great brazil nut sweets in the tin! I thought it was a fluke but it was the same in a friends' tin. I guess they're fazing it out. :(

I guess they're playing it safe and not having too many potentially divisive flavours. But the problem is that they all taste the same now, and you need the coffee cremes of this world to appreciate the better things.

A very incisive post! How can they do that to the wonderful Brazil nut? It had character in spades and a uniqueness that divided many when perusing the contents of the sweetie tin. Hence there was always a few knocking about, which was good for me. Shame on them to consider phasing them out. I think I'm taking this way too seriously:pac:

    Quick Lunch curry noodles.
They used to be absolutely lovey, and came in this big tray. Then they changed it to a "new improved recipe" and it tasted like dirt after that, as bad pot noodle tastes.

Banshee bones - a shadow of their former selves.

I imagine that they had to change the amount of chemical salt applied to Banshee Bones or risk serious genetic damage to the population of the country. Either that, or the factory reached its quota for toxic waste emissions for this century.

Score orange and cola. all healthy now and almost a clear colour.
Capri sun for the same reason.

Kentucky fried chicken is now rotten. The chicken they use is flavourless and even looks different. The gravy is also terrible.

Used to love a good Moro bar. But they taste terrible now. And lion bars are also terrible. The caramel is so chewy it takes for ever to eat which is not good considering it tastes ****.
