SD Card Suitable for Video Recording on 500d

Hi all,

Just looking for recommendations for an SD card suitable for video recording on my Canon 500d. When I use my existing card it builds up a buffer and stops quite quickly, I'm assuming the card doesn't have a fast enough write speed.

Does anyone have any good recommendations without breaking the bank?

Was looking at this one but I'm a bit confused as to how it can be Class 4 and have a write/read speed of 15mb/s

check out mymemory.co.uk - you can pick up class 10 SDHC cards for a lot less than that.

I received one of these last week, holds a whopping 1200 RAW images from my D5100, and I did a brief test with 720 video. No problems. Bargain.

7dayshop.....cant beat them on price, I bought two 8g class 6
HD video specific SD cards for 6.99 each working great so far, gives
120mins each.

I wouldn't really trust the 'brandless' SD Cards, I'd prefer to use a brand I know, Such as the Lexars, because I use them with CF And SD in my 1D.
