HP P6-2000 Mouse disappears

I bought a HP-P6 2000 recently and when I move the mouse to the right hand side of the screen it will disappear. Not a huge problem but just annoying as my favourites is on the right hand side (used to be on the left on old HP). Does anyone know if normal or should I bring it back to the shop?

Try changing the HP favorites to use the left side of the screen, look for a config icon in the system tray (near the clock) which may exist and give positioning options.
