Got the newest assassins creed, not sure if I like it.

Its pretty, but the gameplay is sometimes a little bit confusing, and seems lacklustre. Not a big fan of controls on pc, either.

It's a very "meh" game. Not a fan of some of the new mechanics.... that den defence thing is a pain in the left testicle.

I'm going to search the small room in my house to see if we still have GTA: Vice City. If I find it, I'm locking myself in to play it on the PS2 for the next week

I'm not too happy about that. It's essentially saying "NO CLIMBING! WALK EVERYWHERE! WE'LL SEND AN ARMY AFTER YOU IF YOU DO!"

I've given up on the den defence, I've decided it's far easier just to let the den be taken, then kill the captain and re-take it. I'm horrifically bad at the den defence.

Looks like you're getting your Skyrim reduction, Davidius. 'twas cheaper in Game a week or two ago though (at €25 i think)

Nothing interesting for me today. Just need to get the And Yet It Moves and Jamestown achievements...so many to get and updates needed on my shíte o2 bb >_<

Seems that PAYDAY (I missed the damn offer, stupid PayPal taking ages to transfer money >_>)and Torchlight were both rather good purchases for me this year - I just hope the rest of my purchases (damn Steam sales being so tempting :P) will be equally as worthwhile.

I still have to get around to Cave Story+, it was the main reason I bought Humble Bundle 4 (incl. the 2 bonus games and HB3) and I've only played Shank, Hammerfight and Jamestown so far.

Yeah it doesn't really seem worth it at that price, and like you said it's probably not too hard to find it cheaper. The reduction on big games seem to basically make them standard retail price rather than a proper bargain.

I hate seeing free to play game achievements. At least the And Yet it Moves achievement is easy.

yeah the AYIM was piss easy. 2 seconds into the Chp 2 and i had it done!

got the Defcon, Frozen Synapse, and Audiosurf achievements and all i've gotten is coal >_<
still have to get the Jamestown one now.

Got 9 coal now, worth crafting into a gift, y'think?

Depends on how much hassle you're willing to go through to find a decent trade. Some people will probably give you something decent for it so it definitely has a better expected return than crafting, but most traders are impossible to deal with it in my experience. If the option is between crafting and leaving it for the draw, then crafting is decidedly the better option.

Progress far enough into the story to get all the words of power for Unrelenting Force, then explore everything? There's plenty of cool things to find (mainly words of power, I think ~50 of them are separate to the main story) along with good monetary/loot rewards.

Also, the major sidequests (Dark Brotherhood, Thieves' Guild and College of Winterhold) are really good, so be sure to get around to them once you visit the appropriate cities.

I traded my 50% off Valve coupon to my brother (in exchange for Metro 2033, since he already has it) so that he could get the achievement - he got a 10% off Valve coupon :D

    WAHHHHH!

My boyfriend got me skyrim to play on my computer because I liked playing it on his xbox and I don't have a console.
I have an imac but it runs through windows I've no idea how to get the other os up or anything.I'm terribly bad with computers.
I read the back and it said you had to have a steam account. So I've got that done now.
but now I can't enter the poxy product code because I've no idea where to find it.
Saw something that looked promising in the box but apparently it aint it.

    GAH!!!

God I hope this works because if not that means my tablet and book both don't work so won't have been the best christmas present wise!!

EDIT:It seems to be installing,oh god let it work.PLEASE!!!!!

Reading Beginners guides to skyrim while it loads and even the most basic don't realy seem that basic since I've no idea what the hoop magica is(I'm guessing magical powers) or what the craic is with them.

I frigging hope so.I played for 16 hours on the xbox and never used any spell stuff etc because I don't know how hopefully its easier on this.

Edit:Ok made my nord and all that but the video auto set to low so it frigging bollix, The video is crazily bitty as in the walk, min pause, move an inch, mini pause.nothing is seamless and tis almost like its pixilated but it aint. And when they talk the sound comes then they move their mouths a minute later.Graphics are soooo bad Tried running up the stairs in the keep and as soon as I move everything turns into a big chunky blur untill I stop then it settles. It's really not looking promising. It's dissapointing since it was so good and clean and seamless on the xbox.

    I found your problem, ma'am.

True but it actually loaded and is working vaguely ok on it since it runs through windows.I couldnt open the other os if it tried.Would that explain the dodgey video and movement transitions tho?

How old is your iMac? If it's recent (2 years old, or younger, I'm guessing - I don't really know what Apple's past hardware is like), then the game should be playable.

When you say that it's at lowest settings, did you include screen resolution?

I doubt running Skyrim via Windows on the same computer woiuld help. I'd imagine it'd make things slightly worse if anything
