Hi,Merry Christmas, not entirely happy with camelot. The horse camelot is trained by Aidan O'Brien and the only connection I can see is through king arthur, but what has that got to do with sport? and 42ac, red winners, bull? doesn't fill me with confidence. Any thoughts?

    Arthurs Kingdom was Camelot

Red Bull won constructors and drivers championship Formula 1

CAT is definitely KK player , hard to see it being anything else

I am left with two silly ones

    Martial arts rank --N
Box lightly with ships ploe -P-- (presumably spar but a bit unsure)

I have Ayew for Marseille player , presumably this is Ok ??

HAS ANYONE DONE ANYTHING ABOUT THE BUNGEI or LANGAT thing? 107ac?

If previous Chequered Flag crosswords are anything to go by they'll accept either answer as they're both correct, I haven't seen any notice to this effect yet though.

No, The clue reads "Katie from 91d"
    Therefore the solution is TAYLOR

91d is BRAY - "Hometown of Katie Taylor"
    Q.E.D.

Am stuck on 5 here. Sport not really my forte!

    3a) Derby Sheep (3) (RAM?)
41d) Co-host of the 11th ICC world Cup (9) The internet tells me that the co-hosts for 2011 were Sri Lanka and India Bangladesh...I have A
A-I- . Am I looking at the wrong year or is one of the other answers wrong?

48dn (6) & 51dn (8) They clinched the Presidents Cup for the US

I can't find any golfers that fit with this answer...have 48dn (--C---) and 51dn (W-O-L--D). Tiger Woods supposedly helped clinch that cup this year...have no clue.

Finally 97dn. (5) Shaggy Haired Barca Defender. I have (P--O-) but looking through the current Barca Squad on the site doesn't match up with that. Have CUP as answer for 96a giving the P...

    Any help much appreciated!

48d and 51 dn: KUCHER and WOODLAND. Played in World Cup not President's Cup. Compiler's error
