peugeot 206 engine problem

Have a 1.1 petrol 206, i have lost all power in it and my engine diagnostics light came on flashing and then solid!!

I was driving along and felt the car struggle abit and give a jump then be fine.. until i just gradually lost power untill it just limped along..

Had it running then and it sounds like its either not getting enough fuel or air.. rang a mechanic and he said it sounds like injectors...

shoud i go ahead and get a coil pack and chance it or wait till next week for places to open?? need the car tho!!

Don't get a coilpack until you see the fault code. Injectors and wiring looms gave trouble on these cars. Scan will point you in the right direction.

anyone in wexford with a diagnostic kit thats not on holidays this week???

I'm in south Kildare if any help.i do no that the coil packs gave a lot of trouble.but u said the mechanic said injectors and then u said will I get a coil pack there two different parts.put is it still running and running bad.id be happy to help a fellow boards person out

coil pack changed.. car works again!!! anyone want to by 05 pug 206??
