Curious. Can anyone tell me what I should enter in the setup for the standard UPC DVR box? I tried entering UPC as the manufacturer and the model no.DC1621 (as on the box) but I end up having to teach the Harmony using the UPC remote, which only takes a minute and a few button presses but seems to end up missing a few functions.

    Any suggestions?

Cisco Mediabox HD is whats its called, I believe. Dont include anything to do with UPC in the title. Although the servers are down so you wont be able to sync it at the mo.

UPC as manufactuer and Mediabox as model worked for me.

Set mine up over last few days and it's working great so far.
I've got the PS3 Adapter too but just wanted to know if it's possible to program the remote to do specific actions when it turns on the PS3. For example, i'd like to be able to press the Play Game button and then it does the following:
    1) - Turn on PS3
    2) - Switch TV to correct input
    3) - Once PS3 is on, go to left twice, then down twice and then select (to launch the game in the console).

Anyone know if 3) is possible? If so, any ideas how?

    Cheers

When you have created the activity, you can review the settings for that activity and add more commands at the start.

Managed to figure this out last night. Turns out the software I initially programmed the remote with was through the logitech website and it doesnt offer the functionality to update your activities with commands.

The installable software does though so have it all programmed now. One click of a button will load me straight into my current career on FIFA 12. Absolutely brilliant remote, don't know how I lived without one for so long now! :)

@donnacha, if the other two fall through i'll take that 2nd remote off you.

Has anyone elses remote gone to pot?. My one was working until one day a couple of months back it lost all functionality. When i try to make adjustments it keeps asking me to update in downloads but when i do it says i already have the latest remote controller and firmware. Then i read a few bits online about logitech servers not supporting it and other lesser remotes any longer?.
Followed safe mode guide and no improvement.
    Anyone elses giving problems?.

Sorry if Im pointing out the obvious ... are your batteries used up?

If not then send it back!

Yeah they were ok as the lights on it were working bright and i did get it that i can switch up and down channels and thought i was nearly there. I changed the batteries last nite before the safe mode attemps etc. Maybe i should take them out and leave them for a day as thats what a few people said worked.
It is annoying though that im getting the 'update software' prompt everytime.

i need to change the batteries to see if it needs to go back.
