It's people like you who are responsible for it being nigh on impossible to enjoy a gig these days without some druken feckwit staggering over and back from his seat to the bar every fifteen minutes to jostle his way through the crowd for another round of drinks to enjoy while nattering to his mates, treating the music like it's something to be spoken over rather than listened to. If I go to a pub to listen to some music, it's for that purpose and not to listen to your inane drivel.

Im chilling back now with music in the background but believe me I've had many a night of just sitting up almost til the morning, and just LISTENING, and appreciating music. Stuff like, again Tom Waits, Miles Davis, BB King etc.

This might sound strange, but on the morning of a competition.

I eat a hearty breakfast (I fight at +100kgs so I don't have to make weight), arrive at the venue, then after registration I take a walk outside, take deep breaths of fresh air.. Then head inside and put this on loop;

And usually I fall asleep.
