He's removed the links, but I still have the link to his LinkedIn profile in my history. I could send him a message on twitter and tell him to either make a donation to an anti racism campaign (and provide proof on twitter), or I'll forward his details on to his local Garda Station

Do that, it would be epic!!

Hes favoring tweets to highlight peoples reaction to the Suarez thing. Abit much from some people. Some of it is sickening. Like fair enough im still supporting him 100% but that stuff from so called fans doesnt help.

    That's nothing short of disgraceful.

You couldn't make this **** up. One of them, from Ireland as it happens, has his full name and picture on his twitter. Just in case that wasn't enough, he's linked his LinkedIn profile giving information on where he lives, what college's he attended, where he did his work experience, and a nice clear picture of himself.

Shockingly, he's also a member of RAWK and has given his user name

I don't really go on Twitter anymore but it really is a cesspit at times like this. Poor ould Collymore is getting loads of it, but he's got loads of it from Chelsea and loads of other club fans before. Its amazing these attitudes still exist, football attracts them too but some are a bit thick as you see. They might get away with it in a stand but cases around Twitter comments are increasingly common.

Mad Men's Don Draper : What you call love was invented by guys like me, to sell nylons.

I love twitter, but keep a fairly low profile on it. It seems to me that as soon as you're active enough on there or famous enough, you get the worst it has to offer in the form of @mentions and DMs. The rest of the time, these morons can easily be ignored, which is the least they deserve.

That lad on twitter I was chatting about earlier has been caught on another site. He removed all his details, however someone had taken a screen shot, emailed his college with the screen shots of what he said, and explaining the story.

They've done similar with numerous others, posting screenshots of their facebook pages etc

Ironically, he lists communications and interpersonal skill as specialities of his on his professional profile

Any news on Gerrard? How close is he to fitness?

How do people see us lining up with Suarez suspended and Stevie back to full fitness?

Only got round to fixing forum access recently. When I read this thread one thing always struck me as strange. Posters were mentioning players, usually strikers, who are around the thirty mark. Don't the current owners have a stated policy of buying younger players and cashing in when they've peaked. I remember them saying that Gerrard's and Carragher's contracts were exceptions. The club was not going to pay older players top money in the future. Bellamy was a free transfer. Kuyt is there because it would be bad form to offload him. Maxi is also there out of loyalty and a wish not to throw the baby out with the bath water. The recent links with Coleman would suggest to me that Johnson will be cashed in on soon.

Everytime I see a link to Villa, Torres, Podolski or Huntelaar I check their date of birth. Thats why I can see them going for the brazilian Damiao (sp?). Young with resale potential. He'd be the man they need just to calmly put the effin' thing in the back of the net.

    Reina
    Johnson Agger Skrtel Enrique
    Adam Spearing
    Gerrard
    Kuyt Bellamy
    Carroll

If Gerrard isn't fit, bring in Henderson and swap him with Adam.

On paper that doesn't look too bad. What about Downing though? Shelvey's form could give Kenny a selection headache.

At this point I don't think anyone how close Gerrard is to coming back. There has been plenty of club statements since October saying that he is close to coming back and about how well he is doing in training. The most recent statement said he was in full training and doing well.

Guess we will only know for sure when we see him on a teamsheet. I'm long at the point where him coming back is a bonus rather than a soon to happen event unfortunately.

Sure, yeah. His games to goals ratio on wiki is proof enough for me. Will check his compilation film on youtube later. Thats the real acid test of any potential signing!

I'm probably gonna get slated for this, but if and when stevie comes back, we should play him as a striker. He is the best finisher at the club, and I feel if we had him on the end of those chances we would defo be fourth or higher now. Thoughts anyone?

I'm not accusing anyone. I proudly stating my use of wiki and youtube in sourcing potential strikers ;-). Don't play computer games, or whatever the young ones call them nowadays. Otherwise FIFA Manager would be on there too.

No, I'm sure he has extensive knowledge of the Russian, Brazilian, Belgian and Norwegian divisions, and all the budding talent around the world, as well as watching all CL group stage matches. Either that, or middlemen and shifty cigar smoking types in sheepskin coats, contact him in the snakepit of their elected trade.

At the end of the day, I remeber Football Manager 2005 predicting Daniel Sturridge, at 16, was gonna be great. :p

Also fairly sure Everton signed a deal with the makers of Football Manager (Sports Interactive) to use their database when recruiting players.

I need to go back playing FM :D

And just to back up my ludicrous claim about Everton! linky
