This is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard, and yet it's so unsettling and disturbing. The intro is amazing, it's so poignant. I really should have started listening to The Cure sooner!

Aaaaaaaaaahhhh I've been looking for that song for forever, just from the opening bit, since I randomly heard it on a long-forgotten TV show. I was convinced it was from the start of a Warpaint song for some reason...:S. But thank you!!

He's an absolute gent too. Talking to him today when I was working on Joe Duffy Show. That song had the whole crowd transfixed, was incredible.

I really prefer his darker, more angsty stuff (which is a lot of Man on the Moon 2), hope he continues with it and doesn't go all Eminem and Crack A Bottle...

Well, according to him, MOTM3 will continue on from MOTM2 seamlessly, so there's no need to worry about that. WZRD, on the otherhand, will be even darker and angstier apparently? It'll be his collaboration album with Dot Da Genius, with whom he did this track:

This is so bizarre, but in the best way possible! The mounting, apparently lustful tension between the two characters in the video is hilarious, as are the bewildered, shy little glances Spencer makes every now and then. The creepy music box/fairground organ accompaniment combined with the demonic synth and glitchy processed guitars make it even funnier. One of the weirdest things I've seen and heard, but it's marvelous.
