Co-ax cables - any difference

When the nice man was replacing my faulty LNB last year, he installed a quad-LNB in its place and kindly dropped a metre or so of cable from the two extra connectors into my attic.

Now I'm planning to install a spare Sky box into another room for the free channels and was wondering if there is any (real) difference in the different co-ax cables available in, say, B&Q?

Will the cheapest one do, or does it really matter?

The copper braid/copper foil coax is lower loss and offers better protection from interference than the aluminium foil stuff.

Get a roll of this TX100 http://www.satellite.ie/acatalog/Triax.html it wil probally work out cheap than the crap in B&Q

B+Q used to stock CT100/TX100/PH100 grade cable in the past (price wasn't too bad either) so worth checking out all the same.

Yep the PH100 was good stuff and they used to have it in smaller 20m rolls if thats al you needed.
