Or be cute, and do "communication."

You have to talk about something that interests you, something you know about.

Boards, how popular it is etc.

You could talk about your lack of preparation, and how it is affecting you?

Twenty minutes of excuses for why you didn't get your presentation done.

Was in the same situation a few weeks ago, it's really best to pick a subject you're really into and know alot about.

That way you can do out your slides pretty quickly and get practising.

20 mins is long all the same, don't envy you!

To be the total dweeb, how long have you been given this assignment? Preparing a presentation the night before is never recommended, unless it's a company emergency. So my recommendation would be to talk about the advantages of planning, time management and procrastination. :D

Bring a DVD you've watched or a book you've read. Spend 2-3 minutes talking about what it is and how it came about. Then summarise the plot/contents for a little while. Pass the hard copy of the DVD/book around while you summarise it. Then prompt the class to ask any questions if they have any.

Give a presentation about giving presentations. Then be like yo dawg I heard you like presentations so I'm giving you a presentation about presentations so you can listen about presentations while listening to a presentation.

What is your audience like? does it have to be a serious topic? or can it be something that could be fun and you could get a few laughs out of it?

If you can give the listener something to think about or amused by, then you'll probably stop them from dozing off..

Just speak slowly, and mumble-don't forget to mumble. Also laugh now and again for no reason-it'll keep them on their toes.

you could do a presentation about google, loads of information and documentaries out there about it or them?......start with the history of google , how its revolutionized the internet and search engines, discuss the google formula or secret. and conclude that its been successfull in making a whole generation or 2 of us lazy bastards
