Concrete apron front of cattle shed

going to have to put in bit concrete and was wondering does the water have to be caught and diverted to tank or water course depending on quality.was thinking of sloping it to drain and putting no channels in.Is there anything in the nitrates about this?

all depends what the concrete is covering? if its where cattle will be during the housing peroid or where dung is being stored then it'll need to be diverted to your tank. have a look at the deptment of agri website and they have specs on housing

I would think it would be classified as soiled water if running in of a yard/apron.

If the yard is clean then the water can be diverted to a drain. If there are animals standing on it and it isnt cleaned after the animals are moved off, then the soiled water and dung has to be stored and spread during the open period
