    Hello I do not know the answer to this question and hopefully Irish boards can know the answer.

    Did Ryan Giggs ever actually allege that Imogen Thomas had tried to blackmail him?

    No I don't think so. She was pissed off that she was named to have had an affair with a "high profile football player", while he had an injunction remained nameless and she took all the slack for it.

    Not actually. It's derived from the Celtic word Inghean. Shakespeare tried to render this as Innogen in one of his plays, but it was misprinted as Imogen. Inghean means "maiden" (as in still has her cherry, which I'm pretty sure Ms. Thomas does not).;););)
