    hi

Looking at selling a car that was previously taxed for a disabled passenger and was wondering what is the procedure/cost to convert to a regular tax for any prospective buyer ?

This happened to me a few years ago. I bought a second hand Punto that had been previously exempt from motor tax for the same reason. I just went to the tax office and taxed it as normal. There was nothing I needed to do at all.

Should automatically revert to normal tax once change of ownership is completed

Same here, I bought a focus in Jan that was taxed until August... Never checked rate. Taxed it as normal from the month I got it.
