    A surf board €350.00 ??? used twice
A campervan €21000.00 sold it again in the nick of time
A motorbike €4000 ??? for the great Irish weather
A tv wall bracket €200, whats wrong with the fcukin stand it comes with.
    A drivers watch/computer €350.00, used three times.
    A sat Nav, €250, why a map costs €5
    :confused::confused::confused:

So what you waste your money on, besides a house and car?

Knew things were amiss during Christmas 2006 when Brown Thomas had a set of candles (well fancy ones) for sale. A snip at €1,100.

An Audi TT. Finish paying for it in April Thank Fcuk. Que..lots of other bills and loans starting to get payed and cleared a lot quicker and come this time in 2012 I should be back to not owing a penny for anything, have a huge increase in monthly disposible income and be able to start saving again bigtime.

.....that said, I don't regret the car. I love it to bits, have enjoyed my 5 years to date with it and look forward to enjoying it for another 5 at least. Would I go out and buy a new one now though? Obviously not.

Audi TT is a cracking car, I assume you have the MK1, I don't think the new one is a nice, its lost some of it's charm.

I didn't go crazy during the boom, was in college for a fair bit of it so that kept me quiet. I'd say the most extravagant thing I bought was maybe furniture for my place.

A laptop made by the Macintosh computer company. It was literally a polished turd.

    Ah, those were the days...

Sure a soggy sandwich is better than a soggy biscuit

The boom passed me by I'm afraid, but the bust sure hasn't.

So much, but the biggest squander I laid out was going out and week/end breaks. Taxis everywhere, usually going out, on average 3 times a week and at least 3 week/end breaks a year and a big holiday.

Now if I get out once a week,,great,,and as for a holiday or a W/E break, I might manage 1. I gotten use to my new lifestyle and I feel better for it and I was definitely no happier living the big lifestyle. So I am not moaning or am I discontent.

I remember those drinks, I notice Redbull (usually a fiver or more on its own) stays on the pub shelves these days.

I remember a mate of mine paying 176€ for a bottle of champers on his CC in a pub, to celebrate United winning something!.

He was a builder, I bet he wished he saved a bit more during the boom now.

Audi A4 Avant Quattro Sport - fully loaded...

As the loan was so easy to get (quick online one from Halifax) there was another good few K thrown in to blow on more unecessary items....

Look forward to the final payment soon and doubling the awl disposable monthly income..

Could be worse I suppose - car is still running and is a nice wagon!

    An apartment.
A volvo S60 (actually I would buy this car every time if I had the money)
    A mobile home.
A trip to the rugby world cup in france.
Some dresses that were up to €300 each - worn once. Shoes to go with said dresses for about €100 a pair
Handbags - a lot of radley handbags
A diamond ring during a shopping spree in New York (would do that again - the trip, not the ring)

Nothing major, but if you add up all the €20-€100 items i bought off ebay or the net and never used or didn't need in the first place, it would probably add up to a few grand easy.

Yeeeep, same here. Also, the accompanying wetsuit.

+ guitar (have come to terms it will never happen for me), half my wardrobe and nearly every book I bought for college (suggested by the lecturers, but completely unnecessary).
