xbox won't recognise my sgs2

Been trying to watch some movies from my phone on the xbox. Previously, my sgs1 connected no probs, with the xbox displaying my phone as a portable media device, but the sgs2 doesn't show up? When I connect phone, I get a display saying mtp connected (on the phone) but the xbox doesn't display that the phones connected ?…

Dont think the SGS1 used MTP.
Try going to settings > Applications > Development and enabling USB debugging then plug it in and select connect USB storage from the notification shade (if it appears)
