Hi, i have a dead tm 6900hd combo receiver due to the following.
Receiver working fine until i retuned my motorised dish after a windy day.
I was turning the dish manually to peak the signals on the meter, when i went inside to check the signal on the receiver i found it dead. there was no light on the front led read out . disconnected all the cables and then only reconnected the mains one, but nothing happened, still dead.
My question, is there anything that can be done other than discarding it.
    Please help,
    fastken

Check the fuses? Especially maybe the internal PSU fuse.

Else, it is possibly a component fault on the internal powersupply. You'd need a competent technician to repair.

open up the receiver. with psu's its more than likely the capacitor that has blown. the cap of the capacitor will be bulging or slightly leaking.
