€500 note part 2 - Where to sell my notes?

    Hi Guys,

I have managed to get my hands so some €500 notes and am just wondering how I got about selling/auctioning them? I obviously want to maximise my return so I don't think I will sell/auction all of them at once!

I have gotten my hands on Irish issued notes (starting with 'T'), German issued notes (starting with 'X') and a few other letters which I have not looked into their origins. Some of these €500 notes are in pristine condition and some are slightly worn. I don't know if it is only certain country issues that have value? Obviously, the quality will also have bearing on the value.

I originally started a thread relating to this topic but it has been closed - http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2056467456

I got some good information from one post - http://www.irishtimes.com/newspaper/ireland/2011/0418/1224294910293.html but need some more help please.

Thanks a lot! I hope to make some easy money for the new year :D

The ones with the X aren't worth anything, its only the ones with T. You'd be better off asking here http://m.boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=394

Look at the sticky on that page for coins and notes, there is another guy with the same banknotes.

Indeed there is a more appropriate forum for this. Also, re-opening a previously closed thread without permission from the mods is generally not a good idea.
