Using SKY HD Box as free view box

I have a sky sub and I have a sky hd box.

I got the sky hd box upgraded as there was a problem with the picture freezing. turned out it was not the sky hd box but the satellite dish was shaking in the wind too much. so now i have a spare relatively new skyhd box. I have connected it up in another room expecting to get freeview channels but it is looking for sky card.

is there any solution to get it to work as a freeview box?

    thanks

Sky crippled the EPG on it so it's stuck on the Irish EPG.

You may tune in the main fta channels such as ITV,Channel 4 etc. into other channels to view them or get a UK ftv card to 'unlock' the UK EPG.

In short, the HD box is a pain in the ass to use as a fta box-I've reverted to using an old bog standard Skybox for fta instead of a HD box.
