Humax not updating

    i have a Humax pvr, and it doesnt update with new channels ie C4 hd or the channel 5 new channels

    each time i've had to do a freesat scan
    i often get a message to scan for new sw, but never for new channels

    i've never waited more than 48hrs after new channels are added before doing a new scan, so maybe ot would kick in after that period of time.

    anyone else suffering this problem ??

    What version of the software are you running?

    Do you leave the box in standby mode overnight?

    Mine didn't update either and it was in standby all night - I had to do a manual scan.

    Mine did.

    I now have 5* and 5 USA, both showing shopping channels. Progress?

    Also I have the +1 versions and both showing shopping channels.:mad:

    the box is left on the whole time.. not even in standby.. just on

    Sw version: HPRSFCI 1.00.17
    Loader U 7.52

    You should put it on standby at night for a multitude of reasons. It does its housekeeping during the night.

    think those 2 are shopping channels until 5pm

    I'm pretty sure it wont update unless its in standby mode

    U can do a manual software update by downloading the firmware to a usb stick ...details here
