'Personal search completion settings' Chrome?

How come, in the last week, this box comes up on search bars within sites to 'help' me? I really really don't want it, but it will not go away. Anyone else rid themselves of this crap? Help greatly appreciated. I have tried to change privacy settings and deleted my temp folder to no avail. It just won't die. Thanks.
