Coax cable question

Went to move the tele today so the christmas tree could go in the corner and discovered the twin coax cable for sky hd box is too short. Anyway of joining another piece of coax so it will reach without comprising the signal or will i have to through a new [longer] cable over the roof?

Just be aware that 'Ready Made Kits' can sometimes be faulty!!! I went to a customers house the other day and the ready made cable kit (he had bought and tried to install) had 2 Faults!!!!! one end the braid was touching the inner core and the other the core was too short!!! The quality control of those chinese is not to be trusted!!!!

i dont trust anything made by (Human or otherwise) ROBOTS!!! they have nothing to gain/lose by actrually doing a good job.
