You should have used Tesco value water too; it's cheaper.

Or Tesco powdered water (Just add water).

I only have one hot meal a day. A bowl of steam.

Yes, they can - and do. So do people for that matter. Remember the Kit-e-Kat jokes?:)

I'm sad to see all the hardship being described here, but all things are relative. I once read a book about Texan slang and remember one quote from an old cowboy describing the worst days of the depression: "Times were so bad the whores were givin' free blow jobs just to get something hot in their bellies.":D

I'm so broke that my stomach is palpitating after a heavy weekend but I'm too afraid/broke to go to the doctor and spend 50 quid or what ever it is. I'm actually getting worried now but I'm not in any pain. I have 8euro something in my account :(

Always be asking yourself; what would Bertie do?

I didn't eat too much but I don't feel hungry. I think I'll be alright but this is kind of scary.

I can't afford to buy shoes to go to work.

Right now, I'm wearing a pair of shoes that used to belong to my Girlfriend's uncle who died a few months ago. They're about a size too small for me and make a sound like they've been filled with jam whenever I walk anywhere in them but I can't afford to get a better pair.

But, aren't I lucky to have a job.

Does anyone want a game of 'you call that broke... you don't know the meaning of it lad '
You can buy a pair of shoes for €10 so are you really that broke?

I'm so broke I've been eating my rice crispies with a fork to save milk. Went for a walk in the park the other day to take my mind off it and the ducks threw bread to me. Shiiiiiiiiiiit.

    Monty Python Sketch :D
    Brilliant :D

In my student accommodation use the cushions on the couch as blankets and leave oven on in kitchen with door open as heating,
    Warm hands on lightbulbs...
House with no heating over Winter... Killer :/

Bet youd been eyeing up the poor mans footwear for months prior to him passing and when he did kick the bucket:pac: Ill bet you concocted a cunning plan to ensure you got your hands on those shoes.

"sure its what he woulda wanted......."

doesnt even untie laces before taking shoes off in mortuary:pac:
