Bermudez' legs were flapping around manically there like he was having a tooth pulled out with no anaesthetic.

Brando is really a special talent, he is like Jose Aldo +1. Can't wait to see him fight again.

FX is Fox's sixth or seventh channel I think. They're throwing all their eggs in the UFC basket like Spike did.

I think there are more ads for really cheap fast food on this than there were on Spike which I didn't think was possible.

Edit: The stream I have is actually Spike, nvm :o

I'm only tuning in now. I have not seen any live fights but already I've seen ads by subway x2, Sonic (Toaster Melt looks delicious) and Burger King. Damn I'm hungry now.

Yeah I know where you're coming from. People always go on about Americans being fat. If I had that kind of junkfood for so cheap being put in front of me every 30 seconds I reckon I'd be 20 stone at this stage.

Does it annoy anyone else when the commentary goes like this.

Rogan: "Good right hand by Miller"
Golderg: " What happens when ten of the best tattoo artists go head to head. Live on Spike "Ink Masters""

    Aarrrrgh

Well that was a disappointing main event. But I suppose it was never going to be as good as the previous fight.

Miller was awful, what was the story with his cardio? How can he be so badly prepared?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,864 ✭✭✭empacher

Some might call it ring rust, But Miller came with piss poor cardio. I actually saw a guy today have his first sparring session and he looked more composed and fluid in striking to miller.

I would say if the UFC hadn't invested so much publicity with him on the ultimate fighter they should cut him.

I was rooting for Miller for the record.

Miller says he is ready to put on a show. It's a pity he didn't tonight.

Well ive my opinion on Bisping clear, I think he's the better fighter. But That's not relevant. I'm not being biased regarding the weight issue.
You clearly are, or maybe you just aren't aware, but "missed weight" refers to failing to make the cut off after 3 attempts. 1lb grace isn't due to a potential error in the scales, it's just an AC grace for non title fights.
Bisping didn't miss weight, claiming he did as some sort of character slur is pointless

    great call

It sounded like it was Miller's attempt for Dana White to not sack him :pac:

In fairness to the man he did say that if he was to perform the way he did tonight (especially in the first round) against top opposition that it wouldn't cut it and i'd have to agree with him. His cardio didn't seem as good tonight as it usually is, the sudden need for the weight cut (he failed the first attempt) might have had something to do with it. I was impressed with his take down defense though, a match against sonnen would probably be interesting.
