Anyone else think most of the fighters look in significantly better shape at these weigh ins than they did on the show's ones? Bedford and Niece in particular i thought.

You're basing Bisping being a better fighter on what exactly?
I said in my opinion he was better, I can base that on what every I feel like really.
So its acceptable to you for a professional mma fighter like Bisping to take 3 attempts " make the cut off " before you'll say he missed weight.

Its his job to hit the scales at the required weight and then show up on fight night.
Yes, of course it is. Most of these guys are cutting in excess of 10lbs, you dont want to go too far past the upper limit, as its unnecessary strain. The idea is to get as close as possible under.
Being 100g over is not an issue, if you don't like his character thats your opinion, but to attack his professionalism over this is a bit silly.
And i'm almost certain the extra lb, is to allow for scales varying from scales to scales.
Well im certain (no almost) that you are wrong. This is a million dollar industry, they are capable of buying a scales that it accurate to a lot less than 1lb.

Do you think they save the good scales for title fights?

    We'll agree to disagree.

Although i see Mayhem taking this one easily by submission (i hope).

Bisping don't have the power to finish Miller

Miller could defend any submission thrown by Bisping.

Only way i can see Bisping win via decision ala the Leben fight

Don't know why Mellor is getting a hard time here, of you weigh bispings stats up against miller, Bisping comes on top every time.

I honestly thing Bisping will look to grind miller against the cage and look for a Tko in the 2nd round.

    Brilliant :)

It's funny how nut shots always come in twos. One always follows another in retaliation. Yet the commentators always go out of their way to emphasize that they were both accidents. Some strange probability at work there.

Just looked up Keith Jardine after Dodson mentioned hime there. Apparently he's fighting for the Strikeforce middleweight championship on January 7th. Some freaky stuff there. He's going to look worse than Kenny Florian at featherweight if he can even make weight.

Hoping this fight goes a few rounds. They both looked like very talented fighters on the show, Dodson seemed like an annoying kinda person though so I'm rooting for Dillishaw.

I dunno. That was my initial response too. But when you see the replay, and also take into account how quickly Dodson can hammer a guy into oblivion (see Johnny Beford), it probably was the right call. The only time it becomes questionable is when Herb Dean looked unsure of himself as TJ stood up. But that's only because TJ stood up so quickly. Think he made the right call.

Glad Dodson won though. Entertaining fighter and more interesting character than TJ.

    Diego-time. RIP Dennis Bermudez.

FX is Fox's sixth or seventh channel I think. They're throwing all their eggs in the UFC basket like Spike did.

I think there are more ads for really cheap fast food on this than there were on Spike which I didn't think was possible.

Edit: The stream I have is actually Spike, nvm :o
