Ireland can be a very dangerous place, you must be ready for anything to happen.

I used to carry a 7 inch blade with a serrarted edge, but now i have upgraded to a 10 inch assisted opening semi serated (both for fishing purposes, obviously.)

How many of you carry around blades (for fishing purposes)?

Would you gut that fish if it came to it?

    Jaws?

Other than him, I'm pretty sure most fish are harmless..

Even if you provoked a fish, I don't think they would attack.

I didn't think Ireland was a dangerous place but I'm starting to wonder based on the OP.

I thought this was going to be one of those shill threads, unless the op forgot to add the link to a knife website in China...

I don't need to carry a knife around, I have a big willy.

I have a huge knife. I used the needle and thread hidden in the handle to stitch an arm wound I sustained when I jumped off a cliff into tree to escape people chasing me.

Wait... no actually, that was Rambo.

    My mistake.

Ireland is becoming more and more dangerous for the OP. No idea why.

You've just confirmed my long held irrational belief that dentists are sadistic feckers who love jabbing at people with sharp objects

If I thought that somebody was hiding a knife on their person I would alert as many people to the fact as quickly as I could .

Carrying a knife is like carrying or owning a gun, you give yourself a higher chance to use them and get yourself into a world of pain.

So the scenario is, you are drunk, someone bumps into you, an altercation begins, you pull a knife, then you wake up hungover and fukced for the rest of your days.

Yeah I must get myself a knife.

Anyway you were in the army and you reckon you can take anyone in AH in a fight so I'm sure you can look after yourself right?

I used to carry a penknife everywhere, stopped years ago because I was unsure about the legality of it. If I got stopped by the police and had a penknife or say, a leatherman multitool on me, would I be in trouble?

Penknives and multitools are really handy to have.

Considering carrying one again after seeing 127 hours. I'll get a good one that stays sharp though.
