    Can't really answer that.

Basically United threads are boring now so some argumentative United fans have ensconced themselves in Pool threads. It isn't a Pool vs. United thing, they just can't find an argument in United threads so pool threads are the next easy target.

Kenny Dalglish believes Liverpool can cope without injured Lucas Leiva

    • No decision whether midfielder will have surgery
Alberto Aquilani cannot be recalled from Milan
nothing fcuking surprises me when it comes to Aquilani

Lucas Leiva has been in fine form for Liverpool but the midfielder will miss the rest of the season after injuring his left knee in the Carling Cup tie against Chelsea.
Kenny Dalglish has ruled out a possible return to Liverpool for Alberto Aquilani and insisted there is no pressure to act in the January transfer window as a result of Lucas Leiva's injury.
The Brazil international will miss the rest of the season having ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee during Tuesday's Carling Cup quarter-final victory at Chelsea. Liverpool and Lucas are now considering whether last season's player of the year should undergo surgery.
The injury comes at a terrible time for player and club, with the 24-year-old in outstanding form and Liverpool now required to maintain their recent momentum without their key defensive midfielder and their captain, Steven Gerrard, who faces several more weeks on the sidelines with an ankle problem.
Dalglish, however, is philosophical about Lucas's injury and claims that, in Jay Spearing, Jordan Henderson, Charlie Adam and Jonjo Shelvey, he has the squad to withstand such a loss. Liverpool also have the £20m Italy international Aquilani on loan at Milan for the season but, under the terms of the arrangement, there is no option for an emergency recall. "If you check the rules, you will see he is not in a position to come back," said Dalglish.
As for signing a replacement for Lucas when the transfer window reopens, the Liverpool manager said: "We don't need to make a decision about January at the beginning of December. We have a really strong squad and have to cater for suspensions, injuries, loss of form, fatigue, whatever. That's why you have a strong squad.
"We'd much rather have Lucas fit and well but we don't have that. It's up to us to accommodate that and make sure that we can handle it. That's one of the tests you get at a football club. Someone's always going to be missing. We feel sorry for Lucas but not for ourselves."
Dalglish had condemned the scheduling of Liverpool's trip to Stamford Bridge in the weeks leading up to the game, prophetically claiming there was a risk of serious injury to players who had drawn 1-1 with Manchester City just 48 hours before. But he said: "It was innocuous. Lucas's studs stuck in the ground and resulted in his knee going. I don't think it was as a result of the two games coming quickly. If it's going to happen, it's going to happen. He's just unlucky."
Dalglish again refused to put a timeframe on Gerrard's return. "We are delighted with his progress but we don't have any date for him to come back. It will be sooner rather than later, though," he said.

I dont know how they got the info about surgery or no surgery as Lucas said last night that he is just going to prepare for the operation .
Might just be an article written a couple of days ago but released today .

This is the stream for the u18's against stroke. 0-0 at half time now. Pelosi is looking great even though he back to LB (injuries).

    Stop asking questions Daithi.

It's bad enough I get asked as to why I have to relay my patio a la Brookie every time a poster goes missing, only to have you draw more attention.:D

People are only asking so they can throw you a few quid for doing the forum a favour. :D

Would not mind the few quid, but I don't think I can take the credit for getting rid of whatever number of posters.

As corny as it sounds, most people who get banned ban themselves with their own words in the main forums and in the dispute forum.

Feel free to gather the money for me though. :D

The moan was the Muppet was just a stand alone ban to assuage pool fans.

That had a certain truth. Not anymore as the mods, fair play, banned a few sh*t stirrers recently.

The United thread is quiet since and Liverpool match and now the super threads have suffered.

Basically, "the muppet rule" is now invoked on all threads.

A bye product is the United thread is boring now, so the few posters who thrived on the drama there are bored now, hence the increased activity on pool threads.

You recall how quiet this thread was when the United thread was busy? They need an argument, club loyalty is irrelevant, Liverpool is handy though.

Ah the Liverpool match threads are ridicuclous!! The last two ended up in pages and pages of Suarez dives and people are re-regs!

This was on Football Focus a couple of weeks ago I think.

I'd not be reluctant to sell him if a decent bid came in (or in part-exchange for Hazard) but if he's had a good season abroad, I wouldn't mind seeing him come back, especially if Maxi is going to South America as has been rumoured.

The London thing is such a big deal to a hell of a lot of lads from there. Funny thing is he is now in a position where he can get to London quicker than he could from Liverpool and he is in a different country. :D

Just hope he has a really good season in France and that gets clubs interested in buying him from us.

Would love to see him used as part of a Hazard deal, but in terms of him talking up the club to Hazard I doubt he would do us any favours.

In other Lille related gossip, I hear that Moussa Sow has yet again been linked to us and Arsenal.

Lucas's injury, Gerrard's injury and Ireland's horror draw against Spain, Italy & Croatia in the Euros is almost too much to take.

While I accept Damian Comolli cannot be blamed for the Lucas/Gerrard injuries - nor does he have anything to do with the Euro draw - I would really like to see him being scapegoated.

How did we go from an absolute embarrassment of riches in midfield to the mess we are in now???

Damian "Steve Staunton" Comolli - the man is a disaster. His head should be spiked on the Shankly gates for leaving us in this mess.

Everything that's gone wrong with us is linked to Comolli:

    Andy Carroll
    Aquilani & Meireles
Henderson - not ready to fill Stevie's boots yet. Next season at earliest.

If Gerrard is so crocked, the medical staff should've been all over it and kept more midfield quality in reserve.

To be fair if Rafa and Hodgson hadn't bought Meireles or Aquaman Commolli wouldn't have been able to sell them, so we can't entirely blame him.
