You or a solicitor can access your Folio through the Land Direct site (Land Registry Site). http://www.landdirect.ie/eng/ once you know your folio number.

The site has been changed recently for non business users.

There is no registration online, all documents must be sent to Land Registry.

The PRA are making progress towards total computerisation- I remember when to get a Land Registry map you sent off the fee and requisition and waited 3 to 6 months. They were excellent quality maps, boundaries drawn in a thin red line by an expert draughtsman.

We can now access immediately, but sadly the delineation of boundaries is not so clear.

Your 'deeds' are actually the folio held by the Land Registry. If you need to you can get copies but they keep all the originals.
