Ring them and say; "I'd like to cancel my Sky subscription"

Sounds like a long shot, I know, but it might just work.

You can, they have a cancellations dept. Just ring and ask to be put through (they might even offer you a good deal to keep you as a customer)

The only way you can cancel is over the phone as far as I know.

In the UK you can do it online but here they like to charge you for a phone call before they let you go so be prepared to wait on hold for a while!!

I asked the lad on the online support could I just send in a letter and he said I couldnt that I'd have to ring to confirm my identity!

Didnt end up cancelling in the end....

but if I was I'd send in a letter just to piss them off. Hate those lo-call numbers that end up costing a fortune if you only have a mobile

A comedian who advised you on the easiest way to cancel. Isn't that what you asked?

Jokes aside, I was being serious. You can just call them up and say you want to cancel. They'll probably ask for verification that you're actually you, and try offer you some deal to stick around.
