Gas Fireplace Converted to Regular Fireplace

Hi,
Moving into a new house with no central heating. The guy leasing it to us mentioned that we could clear out the gas fireplace (which isn't hooked up) and convert it back to a regular fireplace. I think he mentioned to one of the other people moving into the place that it should only cost around €60. Does that sound about right?
I'm living in Limerick so if anybody knows someone in the area who can provide this service and and at what price it would be great if you could give me a heads up.

You got to ensure the original fire back is in place and not the fibre deflector else it will cost more than just a grate.
Check with a poker or something to make sure its cement like when tapped.
