Laptop charger loose/falls out easily

So my Acer Aspire 5740G laptop connection is loose and falls out really easily which makes that really ugly beep that Acer's have. The port it plugs into is still solidly fixed to the laptop so its not that(And yes I'm using thee original official charger). So its like the charger doesn't have enough friction to stay in.…

Has anyone ever fixed this DIY style? I can't permanently glue it in.

A bit of sellotape/insulation tape/masking tape could probably stop it falling out by itself.
