I owe a few quid, but who doesn't in this day and age!

Dept free here as well. I saved instead of spent during the boom years and lived well within my means, so the current economic troubles haven't hurt me so far.

My parents insisted I pay them back for the food and clothes they gave me as a child, so I'm still down about 10k.

Just 300 on credit card, rent is monthly so is that considered debt? If not, I'm debt free.

Unless its been run up over the last 28 days and you plan on paying off this months bill in full then yes you are in debt.

Yep, I am. And doubt I will ever be indebted to anyone except a friend, who I can pay back at my leisure.

I have a car loan which is about e1800 with the credit union. I have e2000 savings in the credit union so technically I'm not in debt. But I don't know which poll option to choose.

Debt free. I was "lucky" enough to be in a minor car accident a few years back which netted me enough to get me through Uni. Meant I never had to worry about loans so am lucky in that reguard...

The miasma of smugosity hovering over the this thread is making me want to vomit on my mishandled financial affairs.

Also debt free. I rent, don't have any student or car loans and my credit card is paid in full every month.
