    hi,
I was wondering does anyone know the name of a good book describing the flora and fauna of australia? Im planning to move there soon and I want to have good knowledge in these areas.

    Really appreciate any help!

Hi there! Don't really know any decent books personally but there are a few wildlife guides on amazon that look decent enough.

Hopefully some of the more in the know guys will reply with some proper zoology based suggestions, but if you're looking for a decent read and to learn a bit about the place at the same time, Down Under by Bill Bryson is well worth a purchase. There's plenty in it about wildlife and the country as a whole.
