OK then,I've decided to post this thread up and make it a sticky. The thread will remain open until Christmas is over and then the thread will be locked till the following year.So then the idea behind the thread is for board members to help out people who are now starting to look at buying toys and boardgames for Christmas but are unable to find items and need help locating them. Also from now if anyone posts up separate threads which will fall under this category then there posts shall be moved here.Lastly just to remind everyone that no buying or selling is permitted on this forum and any posts with relating to such will be edited or deleted so for anyone who is unsure please read our forum charter or see this thread http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055941467
So if your looking for something and can't find it then please post away.
    Happy hunting!!!

The Christmas rush has begun! I'm looking for somewhere that sells "Huggle Buddies"
I've heard that there are stands in both Jervis and Liffey Valley, but am wondering if they are the real deal - VERY fussy nieces looking for them!

    Thanks

Defo saw them in Jervis the last day and am certain I saw them in LV the last time I was there also, they're cute!

Looking for a vTech InnoTab for my 4 year old.

It's like a toy tablet for kids. Unfortunately it's the "in" thing for Christmas and sold out everywhere. If anyone spots one Please let me know.
    Thanks

    Hi all

My little one has asked Santa for wrestling figure Kelly Kelly, I've tried in vain all the toy shops around Clare, Limerick, Kerry that I know of and have no luck in tracking this down. Looking at eBay & Amazon the price is in the range of €99+ and I'm not prepared to pay that much.
Anyone know where this is in stock at a more reasonable price

    Thanks
    :)

    Can anyone help?
My 6 year old originally asked for an Innotab . . . a pink one which i can't get! But that's a different matter!
Anyway on looking at the thing, I think that it is going to be too basic for her and she'll bore of it in no time, even though it ways to age 9. Can anyone recommend a good basic tablet, not ipad standard or price, that would be okay for a child??

By the way, meant to say Frozy, the innotab should be in argos in pink in the next 10 days.

One last thing Neemish, they are not Huggle Buddies in LV - they are My Pillow Zoo. I bought the tiger for €20 for my son for Christmas as my daughter already has a Huggle Bunny and I have to say, I souldn't tell the difference.
The box was €2 but the guy threw it in for nothing cos I said that I didn't want it!!!

Santa is bringing my daughter a Fisher Price Zootalkers set. It says on the box the extra animals can be bought seperatly. Has anyone seen these around? Have checked all the toy stores and usual online spots.

Seem to be impossible to find! Cheers for any help!

    Hi all,

Anyone know where I can buy the Leapster LeapPad in Dublin? Argos have been out of stock for a while now and they don't have any info on when they'll have them again. Santa is running the risk of losing credibility in my house if I can't find one ;)

They are sold out all over the country and online it seems - but I have been watching out and they are in stock today (green ones) at the normal price Amazon - but be very quick because they will go within hours.

I presumed I'd have to pay some kind of duty on it - no?

I would love to get him this years one for Christmas so I am wondering if anybody know of any Irish suppliers where I could purchase it. I know this is on amazon but thought I'd link it anyway - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Waddingtons-Christmas-Jigsaw/dp/B005GBWYLG/

Is that the one you're looking for?

Guys. My daughter wants a toy kitchen for Christmas. I've seen them in Smyths and Mothercare. The thing is that the one in Smyths that looks good is 96cm tall. She's 106cm tall. I'm thinking the one in Smyths is too small.

Anyone know anywhere else to get them ?

Anyone know where to pick up the Boardgame "Cranium" in Dublin? And does anyone know if Cranium Family is very different to Cranium Wow?

    Thanks!
