Reverting from Cyanogenmod, will I lose root?

Hi I rooted my HTC Legend (that was a headache!), tried out Cyanogenmod but now I reverted back to the backed-up HTC rom and immediately get the message there's a system software update 1.31.405.5, will I lose root if I update? Thanks!
