I could understand if it was a classified where you paid by the number of words.

    What is your opinion?

Well I want to buy some equities as I have some cash, and I want to hedge against inflation. I would be looking to hold long term, so an Irish company is more attractive in terms tax on dividends (I like some companies on the ftse, but are not as attractive for this reason).

I looked at the financial statements this morning and they have a low level of debt, the companies core businesses are quite stable (and diversified) and seems to be generating some good cash flow which it can spend on acquisitions. The pe is great, and the current price is attractive.

Personally I think it ticks a lot of boxes for something that I would like to hold for the long term.

I have read the various analyst reports by the Irish stockbrokers, but tbh I dont have a huge amount of faith in them, they always seem too bullish. Thats why I am asking if any opinions that differ from own here.

DCC is probably as good as it will get on the ISEQ. A well diversified co and a fairly solid performer.
