I'm eating one right now and its quite the tasty with a cup of tea.

A lot of people hate them but there's a few, like myself, that can handle their fruity goodness.

I avoided them until I realised they weren't actually minced meat.

Love them now with a cup of Barry's Tea.

    Nasty.
Used to think there was minced beef in em too-with a sugary top. Taste like it could be anything in those vile things so wasnt too far fetched.
Give me a candy cane for an xmas treat any day!

They are not a desert, how in the name of fcuk people think meat in a pie is a desert is beyond me.
    Also, they are gack.

Edit: The ones my granny makes have meat in them. They are the only ones I've tried - do they not all have meat?

Everybody is entitled to their opinion. Unless that opinion is that tea is mank. That is just wrong. WRONG :pac:

Mince pies are a bit meh. Like most similar pasty based little pies/tarts/whatever.

:D Same here, only found out the truth about 2 years ago. Used to be sickened watching otherwise normal people putting cream or custard over the top of them.
