VRT Rate on imported carvan from the UK?

    hi folks does anyone know what the VRT rate chargeable would be on a carvan imported from the uk?

    A caravan doesn't have an engine or a registration, so why would you be paying VRT on it?

    Edit: Car-van. doh! Depends, https://www.ros.ie/evrt-enquiry/vrtenquiry.html?execution=e1s2 - you want an N1 there, M1 is for cars.

    folks for info, i am referring to a carvan

    ie car derived van , such as focus carvan etc etc

    Think they are all 13.5% now, some used to be on the €50 band, but afaik thats gone now.
    Also you will probably have a hard time finding one in the uk, ford only do the fiesta, not the focus in a van over there.

    tee hee..i did that too but copped it quick enough to delete it again....:D
