Problems with BBC HD channels

My BBC1 HD (ch 141) and BBC HD (ch 143) on my Sky EPG have been acting up for the last few days - sound only when I watch them live, and stuck on a freezeframe with sound if I record and playback (though you can see the full footage if you rewind or fastforward!!). nope. fine here (my bbc1hd is ch 234)
have you tried the usual fix.? (plug it out for a couple of mins and reboot) ?
