Torres should worry about improving his 5 goals in 30 for Chelsea tbh.

If he's worrying about Liverpool fans instead, I'm happy enough. He can worry about scoring more goals after this weekend.

It's not a if Torres has stayed silent on the issue and this is the first we're hearing from him. He's been criticising lfc since he left for his "big club" so i can't see there being any more reasons as to why he left. He's a tart.

and the only reason he saying this now is so the boo boys will go easy on him on Sunday...... yeah right that's going to happen. Should be interesting to see what he comes up with for his return to Anfield.

    Torres said nothing wrong there.

he should probably get over it, but there is no doubt that he loved the club, loved the fans, and IMHO, probably wanted to stay in an ideal world.

he saw the malaise of the previous regime, like Rafa did. and in the whole saga around his sale, remember he was told (unless i'm severely mistaken), than he was needed to sell the club. he was treated as a commodity. no wonder he didn't want to work for us anymore.

i'd have him back in a heartbeat, and i guarantee you he has more affection for us than he'll ever have for Chelsea, no matter the trophies he may win. the whole sale of Torres was a sorry affair, muddled up in annoying party lines, and ownership struggles.

oh, and also, Torres is another reason we should thank Rafa...but let's not get into all that again :)

TBH I'm sure there is more to it than the company line rolled out by Comolli and co.

Ya, I have to say the whole Torres debacle still has left me with a bad taste in my mouth.

I dont think its as easy to say "He wanted to leave, so **** him", imo we should have be doing a lot more to keep our best players.

I've said this a number of times in the past and in the last few months before Torres left. I do think that there will be a point where a few bits of dirty washing come out in public about Torres and how he was getting along with some of his teammates and manager between the summer of 2010 and last January.

It may take a few new chapters to be inserted in two or three autobiographies
to get that ball rolling, but I think it will come out.

I had a problem with torres leaving cos I wanted him to stay and fight for it and show he cared which is more he could say for the start of that season.

My problem boiled into a form of hatred in that interview where he said its nice to finally be at a "big club".

interesting sidenote though, was at the usa spain game in the summer. There was lik 65000 there and torres came on as a sub to resounding boos from most there. He then was down the sideline by us and some scouse guy just screams "we big enough for you now you cúnt". Torres looked genuinely shocked being booed that far from england playing for spain.

Anyway 4-0 sunday suarez scoring 4. I will take nothing less

Just went to Subway and asked for the most expensive sub they had...

    They gave me Andy Carroll.

Ahh a variation of the Shevchenko joke from a few years back. Am I a bad person for laughing at the Carroll version? :D

Ah well, i was hoping he would get 'the huff' there and we might have a chance. Adam Johnson signed a new deal with City to bring him to 2016.

That's only a ploy to bring up his selling price :pac:

Draw for the QF's of the Nextgen series was made today.
    NextGenSeries NextGeneration
QF4 = Group 4 Winner vs Liverpool FC
    NextGenSeries NextGeneration
The Quarter Finals will be played over one leg at the Home stadium of the Group Winner. #NextGen

Means we will either play Tottenham or Inter Milan with Tottenham most likely as current group leaders but games still to play in the group.

    Opr

What are Tottenham and Inter Milan like opr?

Obviously hard to bounce back after the manner of the defeat to Sporting but hopefully they'll learn from it

As a chelsea fan, I really wish he would keep his mouth shut and just produce it on the pitch.
    He made his bed etc

I agree, I am sick of him trying to appeal to liverpool fans. He never stops licking up to them, the deluded chap

Does anyone know why Dalglish gives his pre-match press conferences on a thursday rather than a friday??

We clearly do though. Suarez isn't a Torres replacement. We are still lacking a goal scoring center forward.

Well, I can tell you - Torres aint the answer!

Maybe go for the Chelsea owners dream striker force
    Sheva, Torres and Kesman!

    (With Kalou as backup!)

    Kalou is a decent player.

Things are very quiet with regards to Gerrards injury which doesn't inspire confidence :(
