Good amplified wireless headphones with optical in?

    Hi guys,

Can anyone recommend a decent set of wireless headphones that (a) have a volume control on the headphone unit and (b) support optical in on the base unit.

These are to go with a new Samsung 55D6100 TV. The Samsung has a normal headphone output but it disables the main speakers when headphones are attached, plus it's awkwardly located around the back.

I'd like to be able to turn on/off the TV speakers with the remote, and separately control the headphone volume independently of the TV speakers, that way it's easy to switch back and forth between normal speakers and headphones for late at night.

Something with RCA inputs instead of optical would also be an option; the Samsung only has optical out, but I have a dinky little optical->RCA converter from China on another set to feed it into my Sonos system, which works quite well. Still need amplification on the headphones though to allow volume control.

Lots of Googling has produced no real contenders yet, so maybe the collective intelligence here can suggest some options?
