Agree with above post in that the 250gb is preferable. At some stage you will regret not having a decent hard drive. I would hold out for a couple of weeks rather than jump at this deal as there will be good bundles on offer for the xmas market. If i were you I'd keep an eye online regularly for better offers from the following outlets: Game, Gamestop, HMV, Smyths & xtravision. Also keep an eye on this forum where news of good offers are often posted.
As to your other questions, yes the Slim comes with a wireless controller (usually just the one), and yes it's a good xbox,in fact it's the only xbox The only difference between the two versions is the hard drive. Hope this helps.
