I was sure there was a CJ in there too but can't find it now. Maybe two Claudes because he lived in Liberty City :D

Don't be so age-ist! It'd be cool to play a guy with a cane and a limp for a change! Could be like Clint Eastwood in Gran Torino, you sitting on your porch in Grove Street, some punk ass Balla b*tches roll up, and you could be like "Get off my lawn....." Would be a bold brave new move from R*! :pac:

That completely slipped my mind. I wonder what Grove Street is going to look like in modern day Los Santos. It better still be there! It's probably the first place I'm going to look for when I play the game.

I'd imagine they'll make you go there for at least 1 mission...

I assume it'll be a reasonably realistic South Central LA with Grove Street thrown in as a continuation. I actually just got a twang of nostalgia there and thinking they better not ruin the Grove. I'd also be very annoyed if you had to help the Ballas in any way, I really hate those guys :D

Bet you the Grove has a high rise sitting on it now or a strip mall.

Grove street is sacred ground, they can't build over it.

If they do, then I'll....I'll play the game regardless but I'll be bloody disappointed!

The Grove HAS to be there!!! I just want to do what I used to do:

    Step 1: Steal a low-rider.
Step 2: Head over to the garage and get every mod possible.
Step 3: Head back to Grove St.
Step 4: Drive around a two-three block radius in Ganton feeling like a pure straight up G. :pac:
Optional Step 5: Pick up some hookers/gang members and just park up either by Ryder's house or in front of Sweet's place and just chill listening to RLS or Radio X.

    Good times. :')

I guessed that this was Grove St in the GTA V trailer:

I dont know it looks a bit respectable for Grove St what with your man wearing a suit and all, plus hes got a lot of purple on which was the ballas colours dont think hed be lasting long on Grove St unless things have changed a lot. :D.

I wonder has anyone tried the number on the sign?

    184-555-0??? (988, 985, 764?)

    184-555-0101

Think I remember reading about people calling some numbers they found in VC and hearing recordings from the game

It'll have to be there in some shape or form. Ganton might have got regenerated or something and the Grove might just be a multi-story car park or something now, but the area has to be there.... I just hope it's stil the same gang stronghold. :)

Have to say I can't wait for V.

I miss cruising round the countryside is SA, something you just can't do in IV.

What'll make it better is that traffic won't plow into like on certain roads in SA (the long one beside the mine in Las Venturas - taxis, trucks, everything went at about a million miles per hour, you got destroyed everytime!) and on all highways, something corrected in IV

All in all, I can't wait for the beauty and detail of IV to be combined with the story and (some of) the map of SA. T'will be epic.

Traffic can be a bit of a nuisance though in GTAIV. Traffic on the bridges were crazy, completely random pulling out of their position and crashing into other cars/you. and then swinging back. They would need to sort that out in GTA V

But that's part of the fun for me. Sometimes in San Andreas and IV,i liked to cruise around trying not to scratch my car and some fool would crash into me so i'd chase him down, drag him out his/her car and give them a bullet to the head or whatever. Next thing i know i've a 4* wanted level and trying to get to the pay'n'spray..Seriously hope modding cars is back like in San andreas:pac:

Sometimes its fun! But not when you steal a nice car and then it gets wrecked by some dumbass on one of the bridges.

Although every now and again I play and see how much carnage I can cause on the bridges.

    Me too! lolz.

I think the swerving on bridges in IV was because of the subway that travels underneath a few. You can here it travelling, and when it passes, cars get out of the way. Glitch?

    Possibly scared drivers?

Really annoying when you were taking cars to Stevie though. Pulling into the Pay N' Spray in Northwood and then heading over the bridge to Bohan being super careful, only to have some douchebag in a Patriot ram straight into you, or some gobsh*te in a Jallopy swerve all over the road.

Been playing a lot of IV this week (only 35% finished, when I turned it back on :o ). I'm splitting my time between missions and pigeon hunting.

The bridge swervers make it realistic (and were pissing me off when on the 900cc bike)... if they're pissing you off then drive between the lane and the wall rather than between the two lanes...no-one will swerve in there and you don't scartch the vehicle up unless you're not in a straight line.

Two things I hope they fix are A) slow moving or stationary cars not moving out of your way when your in a police car with the sirens on. B) cars ramming you from behind when stopped at lights.

Two of my biggest gripes. Seriously, when you're parked at lights at the end of that bridge coming into Bohan from Algonquin, they don't even brake when they come over that crest and slam straight into you.

Another thing I'd like fixed is the civilian cars honking the horn at you when you're stopped at red lights. Very irritating when you're in the mood to follow traffic laws.

And yeah, the police siren is just ignored by a lot of cars which is really annoying if you're doing the vigilante missions and you're trying to get there on time.

La Noire seemed to not have this issue so fingers crossed :D

there are supposedly leaked screenshots and and the game map online. you can decide for yourself if theyre real or not. theyre pretty well done if they are fake.

If theres screenshots, they should be easy enough to compare to the trailer.
    Have you a linky Moe?

Hopefully GTA V is an open world like San Andreas was. Having 3 different cities and a vast countryside provided a lot of fun distractions and missions.

GTA 4 was too limited with the modifications you could do in SA

that looks pretty sweet to me!

And the fact there is a bita wilderness outside of the city is just excellent! :D
