Virtualbox and mounting a USB flash drive

As per the title, who do I do it?Cant find anything straightforward

From what I recall, insert the drive, let it mount on Mac, in Virtualbox select Devices menu then the USB drive from the USB Devices section. Works for me on both Snow Leopard and Ubuntu 11 !!
