How to connect satelite dish

I have recently moved into a rented house and there is a satelite dish and a TV but nothing else. Can someone recommend a receiver or where to get one.

I'm not sure if this is the right thread for my query but hopefully someone out there can help! I want to cancel my UPC subscription..what are my replacement options for the tv and broadband? A satellite dish for tv and a "dongle" for broadband? Not even sure what a dongle is! Advice on best value for money and where I can purchase them is what I'm after please.

For TV, Saorview via an aerial for the Irish channels and Freesat via a satellite dish for the UK channels.

With VAT due to increase I'm sorry to say you will probably get a worse deal after xmas, the satellite retail industry tend to have prices cut to the bone year round, its not seasonal like other retailers . When comparing prices you should also check that its VAT inclusive , it should be by law but some in the satellite retail business bend the rules on this unfortunately and it makes it harder to see what the best deal is.
